LA DALLE CACHEE

The free Ski Bus starts and ends outside the chalet stopping at the Nyon and Pleney ski lifts in Morzine (5 mins). This is the first and last stop for the bus - which takes the stress out of getting on and off! 

You can also ski from the chalet, cross country and along the river to the Nyon cable car lift which accesses the Les Gets ski area.

Chez Layan-ne, a lovely traditional restaurant with large terrace is 20 metres walk from the chalet.

Across the meadow, a picturesque footpath runs alongside the nearby river into Morzine - about 40 minutes walk for adults.

The Chalet is in the heart of the Valley de la Manche Cross Country Ski area and well located for Mountain biking and hiking in the summer.

Lake Des Mines d’Or (www.lesminesdor.net) with its restaurant (June- Sept) is walking distance from the chalet, a further walk up the mountain brings you to Les Fretorelles Farm / restaurant (seasonal). Beyond that is the border with Switzerland at the Col de Cou, with stunning views of the Dents Blanche, and a bird watchers paradise.

Morzine itself has a great selection of cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. A cinema, swimming pool and many other activities to choose from.
