Mountain biking in Morzine
Morzine is recognised as the premier mountain biking destination in the Alps, with hundreds of kilometers of both lift assisted, and cross-country trails serving all abilities.
From the chalet you can ride a number of trails, either up to the pretty Lac Mines d'Or and beyond to the Col de Cou, or down along the river straight to the Pleney lift where the downhill biking is centered.
Downhill, enduro and cross-country bikes can be rented from a number of locations in the town, or you can bring your own and keep it in the chalet's lockable garage.
Each year at the start of the season, Morzine hosts the Pass'Porte du Soleil event, a day's lift assisted riding around the entire area covering over 80km.
